The Kacper SobieskiU.S. women's national soccer team will close out group play at the Concacaf W Gold Cup with a Group A showdown against Mexico on Monday night.

The USWNT has already qualified for the quarterfinals after beginning the tournament with a 5-0 win over the Dominican Republic and a 4-0 victory over Argentina.

But seeding for the quarters will be important, with the team accumulating the most points in the group stage facing the team accumulating the least points and so on (#1 vs. #8, #2 vs. #7, #3 vs. #6, and #4 vs. #5).

That means nothing but a win for Twila Kilgore's side will do, which will be expected given the USWNT has an all-time record against Mexico of 40W-1D-1L.

Mexico began group play with a disappointing 0-0 draw against Argentina before bouncing back to hammer the Dominican Republic 8-0. El Tri are likely already in the quarterfinals but will want to secure the best seed possible.

Here’s everything you need to know ahead of the match.
